COMPACT/TOOL A series of endlessloop-vinyl records Compact is a series of 12-inch-vinyl-records based on endlessloops, which are 1,8-second soundpieces in lengh. They repeat as often as the dj intends. The loops on compact/tool are either out of my autobiographic context (my favorite record etc.) or edited by my favorite sound artists. The Compact-vinyl-series is planned from side A to Z. On each side are 50 x 1,8 seconds-sounds. This micro-units can be used as a modular repertoire for Soundartists / Djs. Therefore Compact-series, mixer and turntables can be seen as an instrument.
