12_INCH Free-modular-photo-work, priced by the "Kodak-Nachwuchs-Förderpreis" 12_INCH is a series of DJ-portraits. It is an analogism to the techniques djs using for their work. For instance, partial multiexposure accords to the djs mixing, by-accident-parts are similar to the scratching-technique. The counterpart for cutting is the real cutting of the images and putting them together in a new way is the musicians sequencing. The parts of the series, their arrangement and combinations change from exhibition to exhibition. The material was exposed analogue, scanned and rearranged.
